Our Mission
We believe that mathematics is a powerful tool for understanding the world and developing critical thinking skills. Through GPHMT, we aim to:
- Create an inclusive competition that welcomes all high school mathematicians
- Develop challenging and fair examination questions
- Recognize and celebrate mathematical achievement
- Build community among math enthusiasts in the Greater Pacific Highlands region
- Inspire students to pursue further studies in mathematics and STEM
Tournament Development
Our organizers are committed to continuous improvement. Each year, we:
- Carefully develop 20 original multiple-choice questions that test a range of skills
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of all exam materials
- Gather feedback from participants and teachers
- Refine our processes to ensure fairness and quality
- Provide detailed solutions and scoring criteria
